Checking plan availability…

*Each line assumes a whole month’s credits go to one kind of first build. Ranges run from the most expensive to the typical first build in our 18 October 2026 test runs at the default (Medium) effort without AI images:

  • 20 websites (16–45 credits, typically 32);
  • 2 presentations of 8 and 10 slides (7–9);
  • 2 books of 13 and 38 pages (9–14).

Two tests are too few to call typical, so treat those lines as a rough guide. These runs predate our latest efficiency changes, and we update the figures when we re-measure. Edits, design reviews, AI images and higher effort use more, so real projects make fewer. Every request shows its limit before it starts.

Prices in US dollars. Plans renew automatically at the same price until you cancel in your Whop account; you keep access to the end of the period you paid for. Prices include applicable tax. Whop shows any additional checkout fee before you pay. Subscription, credit and refund terms

No surprises

  • Limit shown first

Every request shows the most it can charge before it starts. Going past it needs your OK.

  • Errors and unsaved work cost nothing

A request that stops with an error, runs out of time before saving, or can’t be saved isn’t charged. A request that runs but doesn’t give you a usable change is charged for what it used.

  • Credits carry over

Unused plan credits stay usable for two months after their month ends, soonest-expiring first.

  • Cancel any time

Cancel in your Whop account before your next renewal and keep access to the end of the period you paid for.

  • Refundable until used

A payment is refundable in full while none of its credits have been used. Email admin@makeborne.com with your Whop payment reference. Your statutory rights still apply.

  • What isn’t ready yet

    • Custom domains: sites use a Makeborne web address for now.
    • Print-ready books: books export for reading on screen and haven’t passed print checks.
    • Switching plans inside the app: email us instead.
    • One-time credit packs: planned for members after launch.

Questions

When can I buy a plan?

Plans open at launch. Until then the plan buttons stay off and nothing can be charged. Prices are in US dollars.

What is a credit?

Credits measure the AI work in a request: planning, writing, building and reviewing. In our 18 October 2026 test runs at the default effort, a first website used 16–45 credits (typically 32, 20 tests), a first presentation 7–9 and a first book 9–14 (2 tests each). A credit isn’t a fixed number of pages, slides or images. On a plan, a credit costs between 6.4¢ and 6.7¢.

What if a request fails, or I don’t like the result?

A request that stops with an error, runs out of time before saving or can’t be saved costs nothing, and neither does a plan that fails to finish or the tailored questions about a new brief. A request that runs but doesn’t produce a usable change is charged for what it used, and so is a design review that finds nothing to fix. If you press Stop, only confirmed work is charged and unused credits go back.

What happens when I run low?

Each request needs enough credits to cover its limit before it starts, so when your balance is lower you can pick a lighter effort or wait for your next monthly credits. You get a low-balance alert at the level you choose, and you can set a monthly usage limit. Editing by hand, previews, versions, source download and hosting your published sites use no credits. To move to a bigger plan, email admin@makeborne.com; plan switching isn’t self-serve yet.

Do unused credits expire?

Unused plan credits stay usable for two months after the month they were added, then expire. The credits expiring soonest are used first, and your balance shows the exact expiry time. If a run fails or you stop it, unused credits go back with their original expiry.

How do I cancel, and can I get a refund?

Cancel any time in your Whop account before your next renewal; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and cancelling doesn’t request a refund by itself. Any payment whose credits are all unused can be refunded in full: email admin@makeborne.com with your Whop payment reference. A refund ends that period’s access. Beyond your statutory rights, including any EU or UK right to withdraw, there are no partial refunds once a payment’s credits are used.

Who handles payment and tax?

Whop runs our secure checkout and sends your receipts. Prices are in US dollars. Prices include applicable tax. Whop shows any additional checkout fee before you pay. You see your total in Whop checkout before you pay.

Is there a free trial?

No. Instead, every request shows its credit limit before it starts, errors and unsaved work aren’t charged, and a payment is refundable while none of its credits are used.

Credit limits for every effort level

Higher effort can plan and review more, so its limits are higher. Nothing above Medium has been measured yet.

What building costs.

Every request has a limit you see before it starts. You pay for the AI work actually used, rounded up to whole credits, and the rest of the hold is released.

  • Going past a limit needs your approval. If a request reaches its limit, its finished work is kept and you choose whether to allow more.
  • Not charged: a request that stops with an error, runs out of time before saving, or whose result can’t be saved; a plan that fails to finish; tailored brief questions.
  • If you choose Stop: confirmed usage is charged once, unused reserved credits are returned, and valid partial work can be recovered without another generation charge.
  • Charged for what it used: a request that runs but ends without a usable change, and a design review that finds nothing to fix.
  • Measured figures come from October 2026 test builds at Medium effort without AI images. AI images count toward the same request limit.
